繞樑法國味
早於一九八六年，年僅十四歲的Charlotte Gainsbourg已推出處女大碟《Charlotte For Ever》，監製就是其父親Serge Gainsbourg。如今二十年後才推出第二張，雖然沒有父親助陣，新碟陣容依然強勁，有曾與Radiohead、Beck合作的金牌監製Nigel Godrich、法國電子二人組Air負責作曲、Divine Comedy主音Neil Hannon和Pulp的Javis Cocker就負責歌詞。
Charlotte Gainsbourg這位英法混血兒，自小在巴黎長大，唱起歌來依然像一眾法國女歌手那樣輕柔。當Charlotte Gainsbourg的聲線遇上Air的音樂，在電結他和Synthesizers相襯下，法式浪漫頓時變得有點滄桑。或者是其演員身份的影響，《5: 55》這張專輯總會令你想起電影，事實上，Air也曾替《迷失東京》製作原聲大碟，而Charlotte Gainsbourg也希望她的音樂是有故事性的...
